Poslednji partizan Pohorskog bataljona

Annihilation of the Partisan Pohorje Battalion. The face of a man well aware of his terrible fate: Franc Kunaver Sulc, the only surviving member of the battalion; posing with him are the contented German policemen, who bounded his hands in chains. In a forest camp at Osankarica on Pohorje, in a three-hour battle against six companies of the German Order Police, 350 members of the German Army and a battalion of the ethnic German Defense Militia, died all 69 (of 70) members of the Partisan battalion. A few months later, Sulc was killed as well, as a hostage.

He was 29 years old, a locksmith by profession, born in the village of Stranska Vas, near Dobrova.
